New Monument Primary School take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously. All staff have successfully completed the necessary clearances to enable them to work with the children.
If you are concerned about a child’s welfare, please record your concern, and any observations or conversations heard, and report to one of the Designated Safeguarding Leads as soon as possible the same day. Please Do NOT conduct your own investigation.
Our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) are:
All staff are expected to share any concerns they have about staff conduct around children with the Head Teacher. As in all schools, if there are concerns about the conduct of the Head, then these should be shared with the Chair of Governors. The staff ‘Whistleblowing Policy’ has been discussed and adopted and all staff have access to this document.
